The government has a major and important role in combating and tackling this problem and in making this problem a topic of discussion. She can’t do that alone. WE as a society can make a difference. DOING NOTHING IS NOT AN OPTION!
The Permanent Representation of the Netherlands to the Council of Europe in collaboration with the Open Mind Foundation and in cooperation with the Programme “Violence Does not Belong at Home” (from the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport in the Netherlands) have brought this traveling multimedia exhibition to Strasbourg. Because we want to show you that help is available and that there are places where you can talk about it. To show everybody that domestic violence and child abuse needs our attention. The portraits inspire and motivate us to take action. You can do something; we need to have this call to actually break through the cycle.
